Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I recently worked in a mixing and mastering project including several sountracks from Jitsu Squad videogame. It was really fun cause was like a combination of orchestral and fast metal like japanese videogames usually are famous for.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Constantly working on mixing and mastering from clients all around the world.

A: 17 years experienced

A: Warm, Tight and Punchy
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Ability to understand the project granting the perfect tones and achiving not only what the client expect from, but giving even better results
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Usually, when is available, I listen to "rough mix" from clients to understand the genre and the overall instruments to treat, then I'll mix the song based on my tastes and on my idea of the potentiality of the song. Then the client will listen my final mix and from that we can start the revisions, what the client doesn't like will be changed, until the client will be fully satisfied. There are no limits on revisions (don't abuse my availability :) )
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Use your ears not your eyes.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Works have been focused on Rock, Country, Pop, Metal mixing and mastering projects
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: The studio is powered by a trusty Mac Studio machine followed by the main DAW software Studio One 6. All the studio is cabled around the Antelope Audio Orion Studio Synergy core audio interface and the Flock Audio Patch LT, an analog patchbay with digital brain that connecst all my outboard gear and grant me the instant recall of sessions in analog domain. The core of the Mastering services comes from 2 main piece of gear, the tube compressor Tegeler Schwerkraftmachine which includes 11 modes of compression, basically 11 compressions in 1 machine, and the Gainlab Audio Empress Tube Equalizer, based on the famous Pultec but with modern shaping features.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both, the warm sound of analog processing and the tight sound of digital processing combined are simply amazing!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I constantly listen different genres trying to get inspiration both from the modern productions and vintage styles.
