Welcome to my page! I deliver emotional and commercial sounding vocals. I always put my heart and soul into it! No tests or demos before funding the project. Once I go in, I do it properly, I spend the time recording, singing it the best I can and comping the best takes for you! NB.: remember to attach song in the job invite please!:)
I have been doing music professionally for 14 years. I work with genres like Dance/House/EDM, Pop, Singer/songwriter and country music on a daily basis for labels such as Warner, Sony, Universal, Spinning, Armada, Ultra etc. My vocals have been used by artists such as Gorgon City, MK, Afrojack, Dubvision, Bearson, Jewelz & Sparks and many more. Working with various sync companies my vocals and songs have also been featured in several TV ads and movies (Google Pixel Phone, British Home Stores, Norwegian Paradise Hotel theme song, Love Island UK, Børning 3).
The process:
When recording your song I will deliver lead, chorus dbl, harmonies and adlibs as dry stems. The BV's do not have to be included in the melody guide.
Be aware I don't offer my name as a featuring act. But if you wanna make up a brand new name for our song, that's all good with me.

FWA's vocals have transformed my song into the "indie noir" track I was trying to achieve. Her tone, phrasing, accents, and close control are impressive and really expressive. FWA definitely brings the emotion! thank you, FWA!
Interview with FWA
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Posting videos of me singing my Norwegian translation of famous English songs. I do everything from translate, record and film, I enjoy being able to do it all myself and dive into the language and songwriting challenge of it. And as I'm someone who definitely enjoyes behind the scenes more than the spotlight, it's a good challenge for me
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I have been translating famous English songs (like Nothing Else Matters, When you say nothing at all ++) into my native language, Norwegian, and after accumulating over 2 millions views across social media platforms, I am working on my full length upcoming concert which will be in April
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Yes, all my clients so far, all very professional musicians and fun to work with!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Analog is warmer and amazing for certain records, but I have gone digital cause it is more accessible and gives me the opportunity to work from both home and in other places when I travel
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That they will "feel" the result and that my recorded vocals are on par with industry standard and are delivered release ready
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Getting the chance to work across so many different genres and connecting with other creatives through music
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: If they have all commercial rights to use and release the song. My answer to that is yes, they have all rights, but they cannot use my name as a featuring artist without permission
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Being a technically gifted singer and being a singer that exceptional at expressing emotions through melodies are two very different thiings
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I ask them to send me the song before comitting to the job so I can check out the song and make sure it is within my range. Not all producers want to shift keys. I also ask them if they have specific things in mind, for example specific BV melodies if the guide doesn't show them, or if they prefer me making them up.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Your melody guide does not have to be a perfect sounding guide with a professional singer, a piano or just someone hitting the notes of the melody is more than enough
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: A Steinway grand piano, a Neumann U87, a Neve 1073 pre amp, my mac and Adam A7x speakers
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: My career path always been music. Starting out being signed to Warner Music in Norway at age 17, releasing two albums and several singles, recorded thousands of songs. Then moving on to songwriting for other artist, having numerous of releases with artists signed to major labels and also independent labels.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is heartfelt and intimate
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with Julia Michaels as she seem to put a lot of focus on the message in the song through both lyrics and melody
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: You can always go back to what you already had, so don't be afraid to expirment and move on from an idea
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work mostly on pop music like EDM and singer/songwriter, but have also work in the genres of RnB, soul and country music throughout the years as well
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Expressing and bringing feelings alive through music
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring emotions and a unique expression to a song.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: If recording a song with pre existing melody I will learn the song and lyrics by heart before starting to record it. When I songwrite I make sure I have enough time to not feel stress while being creative.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Microphone: Aston Spirit Interface/preamp: Apollo Twin DAW: Logic Pro X
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I listen a lot to music from the 60's, 70's and 80's, but I am also very inspired by modern times creatives like Julia Michaels, Chelsea Cutler, Maren Morris, Zedd, Illenium and so many more
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Vocalling, creating BV's and songwriting
