As a creative and artist, you depend not only on the equipment (which btw. is exzellent at the desertinn studio) but also on the atmosphere in which you record. This atmosphere and Thilo as a person make the studio my absolute favorite place to record.

I worked with Thilo several times. He is a funny and friendly guy who always makes you comfortable and you can totally trust in his great ear and his good taste in all kinds of music.

Awesome studio! Thilo is an easy to work with and overall awesome guy. For those who dare you can even record on a vintage tape machine!

I recorded with two bands in Thilo's studio and was always very satisfied with his work and the studio. Clear tip for rock and metal bands. There is also the possibility to stay overnight if recording for several days. Five stars for his overall service

Thilo won in the very first second. He's a very kind and interesting person.

You can have a clinical clean, corrected and well orchestrated studio sound if you want. But also you can have a honest and authentic sound on a taped record, as we wanted. Interesting to see, how he realized this vintage blues sound with little effort with a simple and efficient drum miking á la Glyn Johns. The result was amazing.

I give high five and recommend Thilo to everybody who want a great record.

Thilo is a freak in the very best way. He is not doing a job, he is living what he loves! Unbelievable cool and professional at the same time. A real cool “old school studio” with all necessary modern elements. And he literally knows every little knob and he is faaaast. Recording, mixing, mastering everything matches perfect. And he always gets the sond YOU love! When it comes to recording, mixing, mastering, having fun- there is no way around and the holy grail of all consoles and its master is in Edingen ;)

This guy is simply amazing! Great job, fantastic ideas, reasonable prices, friendly ... good beer / coffee ... well, we didn't get famous, but he helped us release 3 fine Rock CDs.

Thilo is working hard - also when the recording
or mixing process is not easy. Always striving
for the best result possible. He knows to work his
console, mics, protools, plugins and to work with his
customers in an excellent way. What do you want more ?
If you want accomodation to record your songs - Thilo
has it too.I guess you will need to search a long time
to find a better place or Studio owner or engineer around.
And i can say his recording rates are reasonable,
good value and not overpriced. So get your quote about
recording your music at the Desert Inn!

Why?
Because Thilo is real nice Person and knows what he‘s doing.
Recording: Analog or digital both work out fine. The Studio Equipment is really good and the rooms are nice and do sound good.
Mixing and mastering: Everything I heard from Thilo sounds great.

SAMSAS TRAUM are working with Thilo Krieger since almost ten years now, we're using his studio for vocal recordings. Thilo is a nice and competent guy, easy to get along with and very supportive. He even organized a barbecue-party for our fans once ... in his private backyard!

We recorded "Death or serious injury can occur" at Thilo's Desert Inn Studio. We liked to have a natural analog metal sound so he was the right choice and it's always fun to work with him.
