I am an independent lyricist and songwriter who loves to tell a story. I have a passion for filk music - songs that help world-build a work of fantasy or sci fi - but I can still write a darn good love song if the muse calls.
I primarily write lyrics. I can write original lyrics for an existing beat or melody; I can come up with a melody along with lyrics; or, if you have lyrical ideas, or fragments of ideas, I can help you fit them to a rhyme scheme and cadence.
I also sing (alto and soprano range), and can rap, so I can record samples of what the song sounds like; and if the project calls for backup vocals, I can provide those.
For several years now I've been my friends' ghostwriter, helping them put together songs for school projects, sci-fi novel lore, and even D&D games based on a general description of tone and a handful of requests for what to include. I like most genres of music, so if you're looking for a specific sound, I can imitate just about any style if I have a reference song or two.
