Pop Punk Bassists Expanding

Former Bassist for Heart Like War, Another October, various other Pop Punk, Rock, and even Worship Settings. Looking to expand opportunities to perform from live to virtual session work.

I have been performing as a bassist/multi instrumentalist now for 20 years around the country in various different settings. I have been working on tracking more and more since the world shut down in 2020 and feel that I am in a place to branch out and contribute to more adventurous projects.

I began playing bass in 2001, Performed my first live performance in 2002. I knew from that moment that I wanted nothing more than to hold the balance between rhythm and melody.

Heavily influenced by Mark Hoppus and Mike Dirnt, I commonly play with a pick, but know that there is a time a place for that. I like to play fast, but will slow it down and work with chords as well.

I am capable of filling out sound with Rhythm guitar work as well. Often thinking of different ways to chord with the song from the standard Bar Chord or Open Chord structure with the intention of filling in sonics that would otherwise be missed. This leads to variations of arpeggios that often help create a more unique sound within the core of the song.

Most Recently I was in the band Heart Like War out of Los Angeles California. I departed at the end of 2019 to be closer to family. I can be heard on the "Start Over" and "Thoughts On This" EPs. While I was in the band we did 2 tours in Japan and played all over California.
