Sam is a very competent and diligent musician with a strong work ethic, I have worked with him for quite a few year now and can’t recommend him enough. In my project we covered multiple styles from samba and reggae to rock and jazz, all possible due to Sam’s versatility as a drummer.

I have been engineering/producing him for other artists, as well as hiring him for studio sessions and live performances for my own personal music. Ive worked together with Sam in two different projects. With the first one he was asked to do a gig on the morning of the gig without having heard the songs before. After only a few hours he came to the rehearsal knowing the songs perfectly and gave an immaculate performance. In the second project we were workshopping some of my songs and he very quickly picked up the vibe i was looking for and came up with aesthetic percussion parts. Sam is very tight, reliable and fun to be around!
