I have freelanced in London for 20 years now and recorded and worked with groups and musicians such as Rudimental, Quincy Jones, Pete Tong, Kate Rusby, Caro Emerald and Big Big Train as well as for numerous films.
I have been a freelance tuba player in London for 20 years and I've worked with a huge variety of musicians across all kinds of genres. I've performed with orchestras all over the UK such as the Philharmonia, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic, the Metropol Orkest, Heritage Orchestra, and I have also performed/recorded in lots of other styles as well - for theatre at the Globe and the Royal Shakespeare Company, with folk musicians Kate Rusby, Eddie Reader, Phil Cunningham and Kris Drever, jazz musicians such as Jamie Cullum, Bad Ass Brass, Alvar Treefrogs, Quincy Jones' Orchestra, Jules Buckley Orchestra, pop musicians such as Rudimental, Maximo Park, Hot Chip, Pete Tong, Caro Emerald, and recorded numerous film soundtracks as well.
I think the large variety of groups that I have worked with makes me well suited to drop in and record bass end lines in my studio at home.
I also record a lot on sousaphone as well as cimbasso.
