Stephen is known as the drummer for many Austin bands, but most noticeably as the timekeeper in seven-time Grammy-nominated Black Pumas. He has both a home studio and a bigger room in Austin where he would love to create some custom drum tracks for you.
I'm Steve. I'm here to play drums on any projects you may have. I started recording at home a few years back while reviewing kits for Modern Drummer magazine, and have tracked everything from loop replacement to entire rock albums in my home studio.
I use Logic Pro X, a selection of tried and true microphones, and whatever drums suit the vibe you're trying to achieve (I have at least 6 kits and a ton of snares and cymbals). Currently, I can offer up to 8 tracks, but if you're going for something rootsy and minimal I've really got some great sounds dialed a la Stax or Motown.
