Interview with Juanma Díaz

  1. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  2. A: I play the piano and sing since I was 7 years old. I had my first musical projects from the age of 13 and I started producing in my first serious projects at the age of 16. I have studied with renowned Argentine musicians such as Milton Amadeo (Producer/composer) or Leandro Garcia (Pianist), and I have trained in vocal technique for years with different teachers. Currently I work as a producer for TAHLS and I have my own project B.A.C.O in which I produce and arrange my own compositions. It has been a long road of 15 years in which I was trained in the technique and the profession of music both in the keyboards, in the voice, as in the production or arrangements and I am still training every day to be a better musician.

  4. A: My influence range comes from indie songs, Latin American popular music, rock, jazz and neo soul/r&b

  6. A: Always prioritize attentive listening to the piece you are working on. Try to contribute from an objective perspective, without looking for your contribution to have a leading role, but to give it the shape that the song needs

  8. A: Pop / indie pop/ Indie rock / Neo soul / Hip Hop / Orchestral Music / Folk / Alternative Electronic songs

  10. A: Arrange Keyboard/Choirs/MIDI Drums and Bass/Strings/Vocals/choirs

  12. A: I have great versatility when it comes to bringing a new sound to the productions I work on. I can provide original and experimental sounds from the timbre, rich voicings to your songs, solos and keyboard melodies, realistic and neat pianos, vocal arrangements that give openness and variety to your mix, complex string arrangements and program beats, basses, drums for your productions

  14. A: 1- Deep listening to the piece that I will work on, recognition of the fragments that compose it and the elements that each one needs 2- recording 3- self review 4- Polishing of details 5- Recording premix

  16. A: I have a home studio perfectly equipped for the recordings i make, with first class monitors/microphones (KRK ROKIT 6/RODE NT1A).

Terms Of Service

Usually there are not more than 2 revisions in my recordings so after the first two returns the price is usually reconsidered.
In case of a more complex production there will be more revisions
