Hi, I am a session bassist from the UK, I'm very experienced with countless gigs and shows to my name. I have recorded many albums for and including Arena, Sutej Singh, David Horn, Clive Nolan and Caarmora Theatre company. Since 2015 I have been the bassist for Arena (www.arenaband.co.uk) recording three studio albums and two live albums along with four European tours. I use pro gear for touring and recording.

Interview with Kylan Amos
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Recently recorded bass for U.S. artist David Horn on two of his albums, both due out later this year.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Generally Progressive rock, rock and pop takes up the most of my work to date.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: It tends to be first a discussion with the client of what they are after, feel, sound etc. Then listen to what has been given, put some rough ideas down and see what they like, once they have agreed on what they hear, I'll record the main bass track andsend it to the client as desired.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: It's a simple set up, Bass into a Focusrite Scarlett to Logic.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: My influences are bands like Muse, Badlands, Duran Duran, Chic, Iron Maiden, Extreme, Queensryche, Nik Kershaw, John Mayer, Katie Melua, Marcus Miller. List could go on and on! Bass players like John Taylor, Billy Sheehan, Greg Chaisson, Marcus Miller, Victor Wooten, Steve Harris just to name a few.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common is progressive rock and rock style music.
