Hi, I am Dan Dennison. I'm new here to SoundBetter but excited to be part of this community. I have been playing and recording drums since I was 11 years old. Back then I had to hit Play/Record on my little recorder and hope the mic picked up what I played. My first REAL recording was when I was 15 and a Bluegrass band asked me to put drums on their recording. Since then I have tracked drums for Country artists Eli Seals and Sharon Schech; Christian rock artists Simple Truth; Michael Dodd; nDx; and most recently with the rock band With Satellites. I take being asked to track drums on an artists song very seriously and consider it a true honor to have that opportunity. Being able to contribute to an artists vision is something I absolutely love doing.
I use top of the line equipment for all recordings, including: Pearl and DW drums; Paiste and Sabian cymbals; Audix, Beyerdynamic, Sennheiser, Lauten Audio, AKG, Shure, and sE microphones; Mackie, Presonus, Lexicon, dbx, and more recording equipment.
