  13. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  14. A: I would say that many people believe that my job is solely about making beats or recording music. While those are certainly important aspects of music production, there is much more to the job than that. As a music producer, my role is to help artists and musicians bring their creative vision to life. This involves everything from arranging, recording, mixing, and mastering. to potentially collaborating with other producers to bring the project to its maximum potential.

  15. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  16. A: Are your vocal recordings recorded on their own individual tracks/stems, and are they RAW as in free of any autotune or effects that will cause issues with properly mixing and mastering. that is the most important thing for me when it comes to mixing.

  33. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  34. A: I bring It to life.

  35. Q: What's your typical work process?

  36. A: Mixes do not typically take me too long to do, I have multiple different custom vocal presets, ad libs, etc.. that I've used and created. over the years. a lot of the time most of the artist's stems are pretty well done, so long as its recorded clean, i will typically set the key to the beat, then tune the vocals slightly so they are in harmonization with the beat, then i will work on the presets for the vocals, do the chopping, mixing etc.. then I will polish it off with my signature mastering mixdown.

  37. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  38. A: DAW's- Ableton Live, Pro Tools. Studio one, Cake Walk, diverse with multiple different DAW's according to what the tasks might be, some of the DAW's are easier to work with in certain areas. I use a powerful Dell Precision Workstation with Dual Xeon hex core processors and 48gb RAM dual Graphics Cards for rendering, as I do graphic design and animation as well. I have several Audio Interfaces however PreSonus has the win for my favorite, I have a few live sound cards. I use over-ear monitors for the most part, I am very fond of the audio Technica brand,I use ATH-m70x for most my mixing, however I do test all my mixdowns out on multiple different devices such as 2x 12's sub system in vehicle etc.. I just like to make sure my mixes are top notch before they are delivered. I have few different condenser microphones, for creating vocal samples, as well as recording acoustic instruments, and other sounds. Multiple MIDI Controllers such as latest in music creation: theory board Not sure if im missing something but this should be good enough.

  39. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
