Brooke is one of those rare composers whose harmonic language is both unexpected and captivating. I was genuinely enchanted by the way her chord progressions unfolded. She's also a magnificent operatic singer. And very sweet (you don't need to have seen her to figure this out). She is a rare gem in this insane world.
