  15. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  16. A: I've started my way as a music producer 10 years ago - studied music production in various institutes like BPM school of music production, made my way over seas to Paris, France to study at IRCAM, and finally got my diploma at Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music. After that I opened a recording studio along with a partner and started working as a music producer - at first it was small projects and after a while the projects got bigger and along came the recognition and from that on I haven't stopped!

  17. Q: How would you describe your style?

  18. A: I would describe my style as mainstream oriented - BUT I will always look for the reason for it to pop above everyone else by reaching for new sounds, aesthetics and attitudes.

  19. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  20. A: I really want to work with any artist who can challenge me and have the courage to take a leap of faith and dive in to the core of a vision to make something new that would touch as manny people as possible.

  21. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  22. A: Always question yourself if this is the best choice for THE SONG and not for THE PRODUCER.

  23. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  24. A: I usually work on mainstream music. from pop to hip hop to singer-songwriter - always trying to reinvent myself.

  25. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  26. A: My strongest skill is to hear a song and know pretty much right away what is the best suit for that particular song. Not in terms of specific lines and notes but more of the aesthetics - which is very important to me as a producer.

  27. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  28. A: I always try and find something new I've never heard before and combine it with my mainstream aesthetic - so that I can make it innovative yet accessible.

  29. Q: What's your typical work process?

  30. A: I like to start my process by taking the time to understand the vision of my clients. This step is VERY helpful for me and the client. It's also an opportunity for me to put my inputs as well. After that we start sailing our way to the more practical steps which include finding the right Key, harmony, sounds, the right beat etc. The next step is to find the unique signature for your song - if its in the vocals, the sound design, the elements in the beat or an unforgettable line. When we have all of these steps down, well comp the vocals, finish the final touch of the top line to make it as perfect as this song needs (sometimes the imperfections are what makes a song perfect!). If we're all happy and excited about the result, it's on to the mixing process and finally the mastering :)

  31. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  32. A: My setup - -Universal Audio APOLLO 8 -Universal Audio SOLO/610 Classic Preamp -Microtech Geffel MT 71 S -AKG P420- High-performance dual-capsule true condenser microphone

  33. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  34. A: I really love musicians that make the effort to reinvent themselves and evolve like DUA LIPA, Harry Styles, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift. Music producers I look up to are Timbaland, Dr Dre, Mark Ronson, Diplo, Max Martin and many many more!

  35. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  36. A: The most common type of work you do for my clients is full production projects. That includes beat making, arranging, playing and programming instruments, sound design, vocal production, vocal editing - comping and tuning.
