I am a mixing engineer specializing in Rock and Metal music. I do not do mastering but include a professional master at no additional charge. I have been mixing professionally for 7 years and was trained by producer and mixing engineer Jordan Valeriote (Silverstein, Intervals, Emery). Hey there. My name is Van VerHoeven. I have been playing and producing music for over 20 years. From playing packed house parties to opening for ​​Korn & Guns & Roses to touring and even radio play... I have been through it all! After the demise of my former band Novus Folium, I decided to get back to what I loved most and that is PRODUCING!! In 2016 I joined a mentorship program called Hardcore Music Studio and it changed my life!! Producer Jordan Valeriote (Silverstein, Intervals, Emery) taught me how to produce and mix at a PROFESSIONAL LEVEL. In 2017 I opened a small project studio in Milliken, CO with high end instruments and tools to make your songs compete with your favorite records! I have one goal in mind... I want your band to SOUND AS PRO AS POSSIBLE! I work across multiple genres including Rock, Metal, Punk, Alternative, Indie and even Country!! I specialize in mixing but am also a full stack producer helping band track and produce their songs along with finishing a final mix. I do not do mastering but I do include a professional master with all of my mixes by the very talented Miro Mastering. I have produced and mixed hundreds of songs in my 20 year career as a producer. Something that sets me apart from most mixing engineers is that I work very quick and efficiently. In most cases you will receive a final mix and master within 7 days if not sooner!
