I'm an EDM/electronica violinist, and love using expansive, soulful violin melodies over electronic tracks to move listeners and impact people's hearts. I have been performing and collaborating in the South African music industry for more than 15 years, and have written music for bands and music libraries such as Mama Dance and Kamikaze Kitty.
I'm based in Cape Town, South Africa, and have been playing my violin for more than 20 years. My favourite thing to do is create epic, yearning melodies over electronic tracks - and this makes me feel like I'm flying :)
I've performed locally and internationally with numerous bands, including Sterling EQ, Sunset Espresso, Arno Carstens, Crimson House, Jimmy Nevis, Carla Louw, and many more. I've also written music for libraries such as Mama Dance and Kamikaze Kitty.
After studying Music Technology at Stellenbosch University (Cum Laude), I taught myself electronic music production, and have since then released numerous albums and singles under my artist name Luca Hart.
