Brandan Quikk on SoundBetter

15+ years of producing, recording, and mixing trap/hip-hop

Started his production journey being heavily influenced by Dj Squeeky and Three Six Mafia, using various drum machines and keyboards, then eventually moved to Fl Studio and Maschine, it was all just for personal listening at first, in his late teens Brandan Quikk started recording and producing for different artist in the neighborhood and surrounding areas. Studying and learning on compression, how to eq vocals and instruments, how to use a de-esser properly, how to use, reverb, delays and limiters you name it. one of his biggest influences on mixing is the great Dave Pensado, Studying Pensado for years had been a big help he says, also influenced by Leslie Brathwaite. Recording and Mixing is Just as thrilling as Making a beat and Producing Quikk says. Referred and known as a one stop shop for artist was his mission, 15+ years later the misson is still the same.
