Bashir Lukonge, who is widely recognized as Bash Luks, is a Ugandan musician and music executive, Actor, Author, and the esteemed founder and a member of Lot Fire Records, a prominent record label based in Uganda.
Bash Luks was born on 11 May 1993 at Mulago Hospital to Mr. Isima Matovu, a successful businessperson, and Ms. Rosemary Nannyonga, a dedicated nursing assistant. Growing up in Mubende District and later residing in Kampala, Uganda, he is the youngest of two siblings. Bash Luks has also made notable contributions to the world of film acting and has made appearances in some Ugandan local television series.
Bash Luks, began his educational journey at Butega Church of Uganda Primary School. After successfully completing his primary education in 2008, he was admitted to St. Joseph's Secondary School Busega to pursue his ordinary level studies. Demonstrating his dedication and commitment to academics, Bash Luks successfully completed his high school education 2014 at St. Matia Mulumba Secondary School, which is situated in Kassanda District.
Bash Luks began his foray into the world of music during his elementary and secondary school years, where he assumed the role of choir leader. His professional music journey commenced at a teenage in 2022 with the release of his debut track titled
