Hey there, I'm Lalo, for over 15 years I've dedicated most of my time to writing and composing songs of my own, I'm an enthusiast of clever and unconventional lyricism and pursuing a distinguished sound. I believe I've got what it takes to turn your brilliant ideas into brilliant songs, the kind of songs that send shivers down one's spine.

Rivera born and raised, currently based in Montevideo.
I'm a 22 year old songwriter, guitarist and singer who discovered his passion for music very early on, at around 6 years old, beginning with the guitar. Two years later I took on formal musical education and ever since then I've constantly explored new sounds and attempted to polish my skills.
I approach music as an all-encompassing experience, in which I try to tailor lyrics to whichever specific theme the song intends to convey, keeping its rhymes distinct and as cool-sounding as possible.

Despite spanish being my native tongue, and the language in which I write the most, I've had the luck of living for 4 years in the United States, which makes me fluent in english and allows me to comfortably write in said language. I also grew up in a town that directly borders Brazil, so I can also comfortably speak and write in portuguese.

-Lyrically: Andrés Calamaro, Trueno, J. Cole.
-Vocally: George Harrison, John Mayer, Tina Turner.
-Instrumentally: Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jack White, Paco de Lucía.
-Musically: Charly García, Prince, Kanye West.

I specialize in funk, hip-hop and rock music, including their respective pop variants.
