Alanna, I've learned can do subtle rises with her head voice that are haunting. She will elevate any work she touches. I have had a chance to check out her piano work online and not only is she a great technical vocalist producing clean, exceptionally recorded takes. Her compositions on piano or guitar are masterful and use subtle chord voicings that only seasoned jazz musicians use. She's a triple threat: great vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and outstanding song composer. Hire her!!!!!

Alanna was so creative on this track she worked on with me. I ended up with a David Bowiesque type vocal with an incredible effect created with vocal doubling. Alanna's vocal rises, on the harmonies, and the outro background vocals just brought the whole track to a new level. Alanna's voice is amazing and she communicated clearly the entire time. Once we linked up our creative directions, everything flowed nice. It took an additional round of takes to get us to the finish line, but that's also probably b/c I could've given a little better direction and a scratch track in the beginning since I was providing melody and lyrics. I also feel like sometimes it takes a round of edits to link up creatively. In terms of audio quality, the takes were super clean.

She performed in the style I wanted and has pretty great range! She didn't get the melody 100% right but was able to go back and sing it better. Her production time was a 13 day turn around, however she said it was due to a computer malfunction. It's also good to remember you will receive unfiltered vocals. Overall a good experience.
