When people come to me about my music, they are looking for a jazz flavor. I have synthesized music from all genres but the overarching feel is Jazz. When it comes to composing films, I approach it very much like a jazz performance. Whereby the elements such as improvisation, complex harmony, and the blues are fully present and realized throughout.
My name is Andrew DeNicola, and I am a film and jazz composer looking to provide music that could enhance your film project. I have written pieces ranging from a jazz trio to a big band. Some of my experiences have been writing and arranging for my projects and scoring a few documentaries. The albums I wrote for are The Life of an Aquarius, 1 + 9, and Stevie Sings It, Stevie Swings It. The Documentaries are "Rizqi Presents Blockchain" and "Made in America." The primary DAW I use is Pro Tools, and I use Finale for notational software. I specialize in using my woodwind instruments to create the score along with midi plugins. The instruments include the saxophone(s), flute, clarinet, and the piano. Other reasons to hire me are I will deliver your project on time, and I am an effective communicator when it comes to getting the best results.
