I am a studio engineer located in Vancouver, Canada. Working out of Blue Light Studio, I have been hard at work developing my engineering skill sets for the last five years. I'm here to offer online mixing services to any style of artist or band. My focus mainly revolves around acoustic recording and mixing and a little bit of hip hop. Always trying to make sure the room can come to life and nurture the sounds created within it whether I've recorded there time and time again or if I'm hearing it for the first time in other recordings. I believe compression is often abused in the worst way, instead of giving tone and life to subtleties people just want to make everything loud and without dynamics. Save the headroom for mastering and your songs will come out far better in the end. To give you a better sense of where my mind and mixing sense usually works some of my personal engineering/producer role models include Steve Albini, Matt Bayles, Phil Ek, Kurt Ballou, and J Dilla.
