Gretchen Monson is an arranger, harpist, pianist, and organist with over 10 years of experience in writing custom arrangements for various groups. Her arrangements are sold by the leading websites in the harp and self-publishing worlds and have been performed by ensembles at Bob Jones University, Cedarville University, and others. She specializes in church music and classical transcriptions, performing these regularly for churches in central Alabama and for the YouTube channel Salem West Music.
Customization is of special interest to her as she originally began her arranging career to fill a gap in the harp ensemble genre. She is willing to write for almost any combination of acoustic instruments and enjoys making "mash-ups" and medleys of hymns and/or classical pieces.
Salem West Music also offers music engraving services for handwritten manuscripts or custom part break-outs from large ensemble scores. In addition, Gretchen has been creating .xml files for visually-impaired musicians for several years.
