Looking for pop tracks that connect across cultures? As a singer-songwriter and producer, I create pop songs with meaningful lyrics, memorable melodies, and steady rhythms. I write soulful acoustic tracks in the style of John Mayer and Ed Sheeran, focusing on raw emotion and guitar-driven storytelling.
I'm a dynamic singer-songwriter and producer with a knack for crafting infectious pop anthems that stick.
Why hire me?
I craft bilingual hooks mixing English with Hindi-Punjabi elements, plus anthems inspired by Avicii's builds and Hans Zimmer's scores—turning your ideas into ready-to-release songs. I specialize in turning raw ideas into polished pop gems: from melody sketches to full productions layered with velvety vocals, harmonies, and genre-blending magic.

Endorse krp4 Reviews

I approached krp skeptically since I wasn’t sure if the genre of music I wanted was big in India. I had John mayers battle studies bluesy soft rock in mind. Krp being from India kind of had me a little worried. It was a personal project I was working on and the Logic Pro and plugins always had me confused. Krp was the perfect guy for job, will hire him again.

Worked with krp on a personal project. I’m inspired a ton by Olivia, Conan and swift so I was doubtful if a musician from India could get my style. I had a song sitting idle for the longest time. Just couldn’t get a hold of someone to produce it for me. Krp (Prabhu) did a wonderful job.

I’ve had this difficulty working with other artists where they don't get my references that I send them. Not with this guy. He got the sound I had in mind and added his touch to it, which I really liked. The song turned out very well!

"Prabhu is a wonderful musician to work with! Worked with him on an acoustic song, turned out exactly the way i wanted. Love his attention to the smallest of details like the mic to record or the artists i am influenced by in my songwriting process."
Interview with krp
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Mike shinoda of linkin park. He puts in his work. Has shaped my earliest music listening experience. And i think he paved the way for the blend of Rock, pop and electronic music.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Keep it simple. Dont overload the track with sounds that dont go with one another.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Acoustic, pop, electronic, little rock.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: When it comes to producing music, i sometimes first make a song based off a composition on the guitar. Then using that as a reference, i start building the beat and the overall music around it. The other way is i just start producing the song without any specific reference. I just go by what sounds good. In both cases i always create the chorus section first and then go from there. I start then arranging the verse, pre chorus, chorus, verse 2, bridge tweaking the music as i go on building the song. I also ensure im mixing the song as much as i can during the progress as i mix and master my own songs - it saves time later on. I almost always focus my attention on the chorus, making it as powerful as possible and catchy. Then i use the elements from the chorus as a motif in the rest of the song in different sections. I add transitions/risers/drops as i progress.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Ed sheeran, John mayer, Taylor swift, Karan Aujla, Zedd, Linkin Park.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Vocals, Music production, songwriting.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a 2i2, AT 2020 Mic, krp gp4 speakers, Arturia Midi keyboard, waves plugins, Ozone, Kontakt libraries.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly produce songs for my clients or write lyrics. I also do vocal recordings, and record instruments like the indian flute (bansuri).
