Specializing in mixing and mastering post-production of live concerts. Whether it's a quick touch-up of a board mix to share on your socials, a full mix of multitracks from a tour, or even your Tiny Desk contest entry, I'll help the audience feel like they're in the room (or stadium) with you.
Are you looking to bring out the true essence of your live performances? From the intimacy of a jazz club, to killer festival set, or the grandeur of a classical concert, I specialize in mastering audio that preserves the unique atmosphere of live recordings and opens it up to an audience larger than any venue can hold.
I have over 15 years experience in live event production for music, corporate, and special events. Since 2021 I have been working in a world-class organization where I am frequently mixing and mastering recordings from live performances, and now I am expanding my freelance portfolio of mixing and mastering services.
As a musician and music lover, I understand the importance of maintaining the dynamics, energy, and even the imperfections that make live performances so special. My approach is all about enhancing the natural sound of your recording while making sure it holds up across different services and devices.

Interview with Piligian Audio
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Transparent. I do what I can to stay out of the way of the performance and enhance the things that are already there.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: The bulk of my work is Classical, though I venture into all genres due to the nature of my day job. I love the challenge of complex shows with a mix of pop and orchestral elements.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: The first step is always to have a good discussion and outline the goals and concerns a client has, that way we can set realistic expectations--I want you to be happy with the service! Once I have materials, I listen and assess what can and can't be accomplished, then get to work. Along the way I use reference tracks and check on multiple systems to make sure the final product shines.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: It all starts with a well-treated room. I also have a room-corrected monitoring system that lets me hear all the nuance and detail of your music, which allows me to trust how things will sound on other devices. I primarily mix in Pro Tools and Sequoia, and master in Wavelab.
