Keith Syler on SoundBetter

NOT GRUMPY!! NOT JADED!! DRUGS/SMOKE FREE No alcohol on the job, but very limited even after the show. I love every aspect of making music and I love helping others make music. I have over 30 years experience, BUT MOST OF ALL, I'm a musician and I have a great EAR. My hallmark is that I have the EAR, skills and experience to MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Sure, I can push the buttons and slide the faders on just about every console out on tour, but it's knowing what each of those adjustments adds to the mix that makes a difference.
I have great compliments from each show I work. They love my mix, my volume levels, my demeanor, my technical skills, and my professional attitude. I am the Tour Manager and FoH for a well-known 90s country artist. It is critical these days to be sure the promoters and venues have a great experience with the Artist and the team. As TM, I am responsible for a major part of that experience. My track record is excellent in that we get regular reviews of how great the whole day has been; the load-in, the setup, the interaction with the crew, the ease of sound check, great mix of the show, and very easy to work with. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! With so many artists competing for gigs, it's very important to be professional, courteous, and easy to work with; THAT IS WHERE I SHINE

Keith is one of the hardest workers you will ever meet! He truly has 'the Golden Ear' when it comes to mixing - whether it be a house concert, a trio or packed arena! Keith is punctual, doesn't smoke/drink, completely drug free and is dependable, courteous and gets the job done. He also understands the meaning of being 'a good hang' on the bus! Totally professional and a great guy to work with.
