Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: Don Mykel - Dawn Of Night - LP. Im really proud of this project because we had lost our studio and made alot of that in the crib. We did everything ourselves from the music production, the lyrics, the mixing The mastering the video etc.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I am working on my own compilation called Zap City, produced by myself, featuring some of the best upcoming artists from my city, NYC.

A: I'm completely new to this platform, although I'm sure I'll run into a familiar face here.

A: Both. I think a healthy balance of each is where the magic happens. tastefully

A: To make the best collaborative piece of music possible. I take pride in any creative project im a part of.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: The fact that it doesn't feel like a job. Music is the love of my life. I've been the artist, producer, A&R, Music Teacher, Engineer etc.. I enjoy them all.

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: How much for a beat? I always respond with grace and the intent to work with their budget. Artists and musicians nowadays have it harder than most, with the economy favoring more traditional fields like medical, law etc..

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: One of the biggest misconceptions about producing is that the job i'snt done even when the beat is.

A: Divorce the demo. We all love our demos and rough drafts, but the finished product should be better & not the same Sonically.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I started my musical journey in 2012 as an artist and producer. I was introduced to alot of 90's hip and r&b growing up and with games like guitar hero and Rock Band i was able to learn different styles such as Rock, Heavy Metal & Pop. I start producing for local talent In new york and it thus built alot of working relationships and opportunities. I signed my first deal in Cinematic Music Group as both an artist and producer and worked with alot of talent such as T-Pain and Smoke DZA as well as sync opportunities with Netflix, NBA 2k, ABC, Espn etc. Fast forward to today, I run my own production company & School Program called Camp Audio, A platform for producers by producers, and also a record label called ZAP.Wav Records where releases will live.

A: My style is a fusion of Hiphop, R&B, Dance, EDM, Rock, Trap & Singer Songwriter.

A: I would love to work with Sade Adu and be able to blend my darker soulful experimental sound with the vocal texture and concepts of one of the best.
