Looking for a professional session guitarist with over 25 years of experience without selling your spleen? That's me. I'll get you high-quality, mix-ready guitar tracks fast.
I haven't worked with Justin Bieber. Or Ed Sheeran. Or Camila Cabello. So why hire me? I'm a guitarist with over a 25 years of experience recording pop, rock, indie, and R&B. I don't do this for a living. I do it because I LOVE music and can still enjoy doing it. Whether you need subtle textures, melodic lead lines, funky rhythm chops, or warm acoustic layers — I’ve got you covered.
I record remotely with high-end gear, pristine audio quality, and fast turnaround. I’m not just here to play guitar — I’m here to serve the song.
What I offer:
Electric & acoustic guitars (multiple styles)
Lead, rhythm, ambient, fingerstyle
Quick communication & revisions
Pro-quality stems, ready to mix
Let’s make something that feels real and resonates. Send me a message and let’s talk about your vision!

Interview with Derek Juliano
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Currently working on a solo project. It is a 3 part concept album telling the story of a man from his birth to old age.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I've recently switched over to digital from analog for a few reasons. The ease of recording professional, mix-ready guitar tones with the ability to adjust the tone after recording has taken place without having to re-record, the versatility modelers offer with a wide range of amps and effects, and the incredible advancement that has been made in sound quality and amp response. The sound you get is as good as any analog amp mic'd up in the studio with half the effort.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Alternative Rock
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Solid rhythm guitar and emotional, expressive leads and solos.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I will listen to a song over and over until I get a feel for what the song is about and what it needs in a guitar track. I will take input from the client about the sound they want and compose and record the guitar part.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I run a 2024 M4 MacBook Pro with Logic Pro X. My studio monitors are Presonus Eris. My primary interface is my Line 6 Helix floor into Logic and Helix Native for guitar tones.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Record guitar tracks for their project or song
