Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I’m currently helping my neice with her album but I’m always working on something new, sometimes too many songs at once.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: It would be a pen, a notepad, a keyboard, MacBook and a microphone set up.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Ive been composing music since 2005, from an early age, drums got me into music. I used to watch the drummers at my church and instantly knew that music was something I wanted to do. Now as an adult I still dabble with a few instruments but writing songs is something thats always stuck.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is a blend of rap mixed with R&B and neyo soul.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: There are a few artists I would love to work with like; Kendrick Lamar, Chance the rapper, Ari Lennox and Solange but one I would love to work with the most is J Cole.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Once a track or beat is selected I sit and let the beat speak to me. It might sound strange but the beat will let you know how the song should go.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: The music I usually work on is Rap/hip hop, Gospel, R&B, Country and Rock.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill the ability to not get frustrated easy and the ability to let things happen naturally.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring energy and enthusiasm but in a laid back kind of way.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a basic setup with a MacBook and a mic but still building to improve.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Kanye west, R Kelly, Ne-Yo & The Dream are a few artist that inspire me.
