I am a Rock Drummer from San Diego for hire on Session and Studio Work! I have experience playing a wide variety of genres from Rock to Blues to Jazz for 10+ years. I am interested in looking for work playing live gigs and/or recording songs for bands/artists in the San Diego area.
While primarily based in Rock and Blues, I like to think of myself as a "Swiss-Army Knife" style of drummer. I am versed in other styles of drumming that include genres such as Funk, Jazz, Country, and Reggae. I am currently playing two bands: "Sunrise Company," an original Americana, Blues-Rock Band, and "Silk Jam Collective," a Psychedelic, Jam-Rock Band. I have experience recording drums on many of my current and previous bands' albums, most recently on Sunrise Company's last Spotify Album, "Sunrise Highway." I also have experience playing Drumline Percussion music in High School, in which I was Varsity Captain, and have toured across Europe doing so.
Some of my drumming influences include Neil Peart, John Bonham, Chad Smith, Ringo Starr, Clyde Stubblefield, Carlton Barrett, amongst others. Some of my musical influences include Rush, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Grateful Dead, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Stevie Ray Vaughn, amongst many others.
