Eric Palmer

Rock, Metal and Pop Producer

Eric Palmer on SoundBetter

Versatile producer specializing in heavy-hitting metal, high-energy rock, and polished pop—let’s bring your sound to life with power and precision. Have been a touring guitarist opening for bands such as Megadeth, Bad Wolves and Crown the Empire.

I'm a producer and songwriter with a passion for crafting powerful, emotionally-driven music across rock, metal, and pop. With over 10 years of experience as a touring guitarist, I bring a deep understanding of what makes music hit hard—both on stage and in the studio.

I studied at Berklee College of Music, where I honed my skills in songwriting, arrangement, and production. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with bands like ONI and Aviations, contributing to both the creative writing process and full-scale production.

Whether you're looking for a heavy, riff-driven track, a polished pop anthem, or help developing your song from idea to final mix, I'm here to help you bring your vision to life with clarity, energy, and precision.

Let’s create.

Interview with Eric Palmer

  1. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  2. A: I usually work on modern rock, metal, and pop productions. My focus is on pulling from influences that grab me emotionally while still being inline with the artist vision.

  3. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  4. A: I work in Studio One. I enjoy the streamlined workflow and it just feels at home for me at this point. My machine is a Mac Mini M2. I use a pair of Neuman Kh120s for monitors and a Presonus Quantum Hd Interface. For guitars, I have a Gibson Les Paul R9, Jackson Concept 8 String, Lsl Xt4 and a Martin GPC-15ME. I also use a Se 4100 mic for acoustic guitars and vocals.

  5. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  6. A: Jordan Fish, George Lever, Nolly Getgood, George Daniel, Zakk Cervini, Carl Bown

  7. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  8. A: The most common type of work I do involves taking the early spark of an idea—whether it’s a rough riff, vocal melody, or lyric and helping turn it into a fully produced, polished track. I love working with artists from those first raw moments of inspiration and guiding the creative and technical process all the way through to a finished product that sounds big, cohesive, and true to their vision
