Chicago Hip-Hop Producer of the Year (2024 R.U.). Founder of studioSHAPES, a creative hub in the city. Got my start with Chance the Rapper’s 10 Day, then mixed/produced all Mick Jenkins projects since The Water[s]. I specialize in artist development, executive production, and creating timeless sound.

I’m a Chicago-based producer and engineer with over a decade of experience developing artists and shaping careers. I studied Audio Arts & Acoustics at Columbia College and Recording Arts at Tribeca Flashpoint (2009), but my true start came recording out of my apartment — first with my own collective, then expanding as I recognized the depth of Chicago’s talent. I recorded the debut mixtapes for Chance the Rapper and the SaveMoney collective, which opened the door to working with Noname, Saba, Smino and Mick Jenkins . From 2016–2022, I worked closely with Mick, executive producing and mixing all of his projects. That long-term creative relationship sharpened my skills in artist development — from sound and structure to story, cadence, and vision.

In 2022, I launched studioSHAPES, a dedicated creative hub for rising artists. We've helped release over 15 projects and recently hosted our first festival, drawing 1,000+ attendees. I bring more than just mixing and production — I offer strategic creative guidance, arrangement insight, and a deep understanding of how to elevate an artist’s sound and brand. I’m ready to bring that experience to your roster and help create music that connects, endures, and drives culture forward.
