I specialize in recording traditional Chinese instruments such as Suona, Dizi, Xiao and arranging them into contemporary genres. I offer remote recording, clean stem delivery, session conversion, and live performance parts for film, pop, funk, and jazz.
Jacey He is a Chinese multi-instrumentalist and arranger specializing in Chinese traditional and fusion jazz music. She was admitted to Berklee College of Music with a scholarship, majoring in Contemporary Writing and Production (CWP).Jacey was first introduced to the drum set, Hulusi, and Bawu at the age of 5, and later received professional training in Suona. Before attending Berklee, she primarily played traditional and folk music and participated in traditional Chinese music ensembles for several years. Now she is including more elements such as funk, pop, and fusion jazz.
In 2023, she performed "Leisurely" with Suona on the 25th Octoboefest with her band, which earned her significant recognition. In 2024, Jacey participated in spring festival performances playing Suona at Berklee, Boston University, and Lexington. In 2025, she released her new single “Suona Blossom” and also took part in the show titled “Home” held at BPC.
Jacey is currently focused on arranging and performing music for Chinese traditional instruments such as Suona, Xiao, and Dizi and integrating them into a variety of styles.
