Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital recording, but analogue recording is also possible if desired. I use a Revox B77 from the 1970s. I don't recommend it because signal noise is a problem!

A: To do the best possible job
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The power and beauty of music
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: I am often asked to record guitar in the style of this or that artist. I answer OK, but I also answer that it would be better to look for more original solutions more suited to the proposed song
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I honestly don't know
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: The first question is ‘what is your goal?’

A: I try to be emotionally evocative
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Based on what the artists I work with and have worked with say my main skills are creative taste, precision, touch, sound, and rapidity in executing a work
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: My goal is to bring the right evocative atmosphere that the client has in mind to achieve for his or her song or instrumental composition.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Before anything else, I listen to the song or instrumental piece very carefully, getting involved with its emotional quality. For instance, in songs the lyrics are very important to me. Then I decide on the most suitable guitar sound, choosing between acoustic, classical or electric guitar. In the end I compose the complete arrangement. I record all tracks looking for maximum quiality in the live take of the instrument (microphone position, levels, etc.). Afterwards I work carefully on editing (eq., compression, delay, reverb etc.). In case the client wants the track flat, no problems!
