Interview with Isaac
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Music production is just the tip of the iceberg. When you combine your passion and creativity, you're already halfway there.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on indie, acoustic, and gospel music, but I’m flexible and open to other genres as well.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is transforming rough ideas into polished audio with emotional depth and technical precision.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring clarity, emotion, dynamics, and a strong touch of Brazilian identity. I aim to enhance the original feel of the song, making it richer without losing authenticity.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First I understand the client’s vision and references. Then I start recording or editing, depending on the job. I send previews, apply revisions, and finalize the delivery with professional quality.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I use a Behringer interface, a range of respected condenser microphones, Studio One as my main DAW, and plugins from Waves, UAD, and others.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I’m inspired by musicians like Mateus Asato, Cacau Santos, Victor Young, and Sefer Dilan. On the production side, I admire the work of Giba, Henrique Santos, Felipe Vassão, Pedro Peixoto, and Victor Amaral.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly work on audio editing, recording acoustic and electric guitar tracks, and writing lyrics. I help shape the final version of a song with clarity, emotion, and structure.
