I’ve been homeless. I’ve been brokenhearted. I know what real struggle feels like and I know how to convey that into a lyrical story. For me, songwriting has been my way of saving $40 an hour on a shrink. I spent 23 years working professionally as a voice on FM Radio stations; primarily rock, but also country and classic rock. I was also the frontman in 3 different rock bands that toured and performed live, opening for some of the biggest artists on the planet (George Lynch and the Lynch Mob, Candlebox, Five Finger Death Punch, Sevendust, 38 Special, LA Guns, Puddle of Mud, Trapt, Adelitas Way, Hatebreed, Drowning Pool, Saving Abel, Otherwise, and MANY more…just to name a few) and headlining major music festivals in Montana and California. We also placed second in a multimillion dollar battle if the bands. I’ve auditioned on Season 1 of XFactot and Seasons 1,2, and 7 of The Voice.
I love writing songs, telling that lyrical story of emotion and conflict, joy and retribution, and overcoming adversity. This is my wheelhouse. I specialize in putting feeling to sound. I’ve written multiple rock and country songs, and I feel like I could, if given the opportunity, even create something beautiful in pop and hip hop.
