As a vocalist with a classical training background, I love building layers and harmonics into music creating a fuller, more rich sound.
With a passion for storytelling, I have an Associate of Science in Music Business and Production degree, and have studied classical voice and popular music with some of the industry’s most esteemed mentors. I am here to offer assistance in demo vocals, writing hooks, bridges, background vocals, and melodies. Personally my favorite genres to work in are R&B, Gospel, and Pop, but I’ve had a musical infatuation with many genres and I’m always interested in learning and trying something new.

Interview with Autumn
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm working on writing my own songs so I can release an EP independently.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Background vocals! I love hearing blends and harmonies from some of my favorite artists like Mariah Carey, and Beyonce. It really inspires me to create cool things in my own work, or in someone else's.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I was studying as a classical voice performance major for 2.5 years when I realized how much I missed contemporary music and wanted to be involved in the recording industry. I switched my major to Music Business and Production and never looked back. I had my first professional gig around 12 years ago.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would like to work with Raye, as she is an extremely talented vocalist and songwriter and she has a freedom in her voice that I don't hear often.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is my ability to play around with dynamics and use them to emphasize strong parts of a vocal line.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Smooth, sweet vocals
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Typically I use demo tracks or choose a key that I am wanting to work in. I write lyrics to music already composed, and once there's a solid foundation I can improve adlibs, as well as compose background vocals based on the key.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a home setup with an AT2020 condenser mic, scarlett solo Focusrite 3rd gen, and logic pro
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Kehlani, Raye, Halle Bailey, Mariah Carey, Beyonce
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Background Vocals, harmony, demo recording.
