My goal is to always work WITH musicians instead of just for them. I operate a professional recording studio in the mountains of California, offering music production, recording and mixing. I also run a professional music venue on the lower level of my studio building and have especial talent in the tracking and mixing of live tracks.
Fernando Flores has been engineering live stage performances and in the studio for over 15 years. His experience in live sound ranges from stagehand to sound engineer. In the studio he has worked with many artists from across the globe.
His body of work includes productions for artists such as Keith Urban, Dwight Yoakam, Brad Paisley, George Benson, Dave Brubeck, Natalie Cole, Natalie Merchant, Train, Liza Minelli, Kenny Loggins, The Gossip, and Sublime With Rome.
His previous employment includes, Production Logic, Third Ear Sound, Radiostar Studios, and David Carroll and Associates. He has also interned at Studio 880, now owned by Green Day and operating as Jingletown Recording, where he was assistant engineer on sessions for Keith Urban and The Gossip.
Fernando now owns a multifaceted music hub in northern California. Chromaphonic Recordings, Fernando's professional audio recording studio operates on the upstairs level of the historic building, once a saloon, while the lower level functions as music venue, hosting live music events weekly. Flores also recently started an internet radio station featuring the music produced at Chromaphonic Recordings as well as the shows recorded in the downstairs venue. Chromaphonic Recordings has become the locally known best source of audio production, recording and mixing services in northern California and southern Oregon.
