Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: A song for my friend, i was the mixing engineer!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: My skills!
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I would recommend anyone else outside of my genre!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: honestly id say digital as i use a pc most of the time, not saying that analog is bad as i also want to start using it.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: A great high quality mix.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Meeting new musicians.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: "When do you think you will get it done" Normally it takes 1-5days
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That mixing engineers are not really needed.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Any info on the song.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: If you ever feel worried don't be we are all humans.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Honestly this is hard one but id say a good microphone, speakers, headphones, laptop and a compressor!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: i started off as an musician for 2 years, and now I'm a mixing engineer for 3 years.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: It would change per track to fit it, but i would say energetic.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: travis scott of course, playboi carti, drake and don toliver.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: I would say less is way more then you think.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: hip hop, rap and r&b.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Honestly i would say understanding my clients goals.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: A nice, clear and perfect mood to your song.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First i would make sure to gain stage so nothing is overpowering, and goes on from there.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Its not much but its getting there each day, as all the money i make get put back into music.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: travis scott for his heavy auto tuned vocals and sick production.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mainly do mixing for my clients but I'm starting to do mastering now.
