Interview with Anntoine
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I recently made an EP called "i found it all" a project that was released on may 2nd and is abot finding someone that fills your heart, someone you love with all your heart. That was a project i did on my own and i play the role of Producer,Songrwiter, Vocalist, mixing and mastering engineer and Graphic Designer for the artwork. i found it all is the project i am so proud of because it is the work that shows my development and improvement through the years and it has my style and my vision about music
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Right now, I’m focused on several projects that blend deep house and melodic elements with emotional storytelling. I’m also experimenting with new vocal textures and natural soundscapes to create unique atmospheres.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: At the moment, I don’t have any direct collaborators on SoundBetter, but I’m always open to connecting with other talented professionals on the platform. If I ever come across someone whose work I truly trust and admire, I’ll definitely recommend them to my clients. For me, it's all about finding the right fit to serve the music in the best way possible.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I love both, but I lean toward digital because of its flexibility and how it allows me to experiment without limits. That said, I always try to bring an analog feel into my productions I use warm textures, organic sounds, and imperfections that make the music feel alive and emotional. For me, it’s not about the tools, but how you use them to tell a story and create something that feels real.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: My promise is to treat your project with the same care and passion as if it were my own. I will listen to your ideas, understand your vision, and work closely with you to bring it to life in a unique and emotional way. I’m committed to delivering high-quality results, staying true to your style, and making sure the final product feels honest, inspiring, and full of life.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: What I love most is the ability to transform emotions into sound. Music has a unique way of expressing what words can’t, and being part of that process whether it's through producing, mixing, or recording vocals is incredibly fulfilling. I enjoy creating atmospheres, telling stories through textures and melodies, and helping others bring their vision to life. Every project is a new universe to explore, and that creative freedom is what inspires me the most.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: One of the most common questions is: “Can you make it sound like, for example Alan Walker?” My answer is: Yes, I can take inspiration from that artist’s style, but I also aim to bring something original and personal to the project. I believe the best results come from blending references with your unique identity. Another common one is: “How long will it take?” My answer: It depends on the complexity of the project, but I always prioritize quality over rushing. I’ll give you a clear timeline and keep you updated throughout the process. Clients also ask: “Can you help with lyrics or melodies?” Absolutely writing melodies and bringing emotion into the song is one of my strongest skills, and I’m happy to collaborate from the very beginning or step in at any stage.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: One of the biggest misconceptions is that mixing, mastering, or producing is just about pressing buttons or adding effects. In reality, it's a deeply creative and emotional process that requires attention to detail, patience, and a strong connection to the music. Another misconception is that ghostproducing lacks soul but for me, every project is personal. Even if my name isn’t attached to the final release, I always pour emotion and intention into every sound.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I usually ask what emotion or story they want the song to tell. I also like to know what artists or references they have in mind, and how involved they want to be in the creative process. Do they already have lyrics, melodies, or ideas? What’s the main purpose of the song, personal expression, a commercial release, or something else? Understanding their vision helps me shape the sound and bring it to life in the most authentic way possible.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: If you're looking to hire someone like me, my advice is to be clear about the emotion and story you want to convey. I work best when there's a concept or feeling behind the music we can build something truly special around that. Don’t worry about using technical terms; just tell me what inspires you, what artists you like, or the vibe you're aiming for. I’ll take care of translating that into sound. Communication and trust are key. I treat every project as if it were my own, and my goal is always to bring your vision to life in a unique and meaningful way.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My computer, my microphone, my interface, my headphones and my mouse.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: Making Melodies and doing something different, as i mentioned, i think a bring life to songs because there are a lot of things happening in the background, a couple of layers bringing light to the production and a lot of feelings in the project
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a lot of life, i love to use natural textures and beautiful landscapes, i use glitched elements and my voice to do something really unique
