Matej Michalko is a blockchain pioneer and post-quantum entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience. He founded Decent Cybersecurity, a company holding NATO, EU, and national SECRET-level clearances, ISO certifications, and participation in a €32M EU defence project. Under his leadership, the company expanded to eight countries and received numerous startup awards. A Forbes 30 under 30 recipient, Matej previously founded ALAX and co-founded 3IPK, providing blockchain traceability for major corporations like Thales and Airbus. He also organized some of the first Bitcoin conferences globally and advised the Isle of Man government on crypto. In 2025, he became Chairman of Slovakia’s Critical Infrastructure Association.
