“Practice?!” Love of the game is the only reason. Hip-hop, R&B, Blues, your genre… Get at me and let’s work. Don’t know until we know.
I write, record, and engineer my own music. As an artist first, I find myself lacking on the “want to” of the latter. Never for a potential partner. All records posted are done in the backseat of a car. It only matters so that you know that no matter the circumstance, you’ll create if it is what you want to do.
Imagine what two minds can do in order to reach a common goal. Your goal is my goal. Teamwork and communication make the dream work.

Interview with Crane
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To do the best I can to assist you in bringing your vision to fruition.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Creating something new.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How can I still sound like myself? Most work is done in the recording. The vocal performance as well as the setup. With that foundation set, anything is possible.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be detailed in what you imagine. Don’t worry about if you aren’t clear or have said too much. An understanding is everything.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Solar powered battery pack, iPad with plenty of stems, usb-c powered interface with 48v, microphone, headphones.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I’ve been writing since the 6th grade. Started with poetry but didn’t try to put it with music until well after. I’ve loved to do so ever since.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: When rapping, aggressive. When singing, soulful. Although, I oppose being rigid. Never know the style until you’re in the moment with the music.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Know your equipment, love your equipment. Principles, your ear, your heart over eyes and numbers.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Rap, R&B, Southern Blues. Those are my staples.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Understanding. From working on my own art, I’ve strengthened the ability of separation. Not to be everything at once, but to switch hats when necessary and be okay with it.
