Interview with Giovanni Bunoni
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Classical and pop
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skills are sight-reading and improvisation, which are both crucial in the field of audio recording. These abilities allow me to quickly adapt to new musical ideas and perform with spontaneity and creativity, whether I'm working with a new score or collaborating on the fly with other musicians
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio setup is simple yet professional. I use a condenser microphone and Logic Pro to record. I focus on creating a dry sound in my recording space, delivering a clean, high-quality audio file that is ready for the client to use.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common work I do for my clients involves providing high-quality, professional performances. To achieve this, I need three things: -The musical score -The backing track to record over -A click track with the metronome Having these three elements ensures my performance is precise and professional. If you prefer an improvisation, I will need the backing track and some information on the musical style you want me to follow.
