Mason Ishida on SoundBetter

Composer and pianist offering custom scores with cinematic depth and emotional clarity. I create music that heals, haunts, and holds-drawn from lived emotion and a background in trauma-aware artistry.

Hi, I’m Mason—a composer and pianist offering evocative original scores for film, TV, games, and multimedia. I studied composition at New England Conservatory, where I developed a love for emotionally expressive music that tells a story without words. My work blends classical training with raw emotional clarity, drawing from lived experience and a trauma-aware creative lens. Whether you’re building a cinematic world, telling a personal story, or setting a game into motion, I craft custom music that deepens the atmosphere and supports the soul of your project.

I have experience in piano compositions, chamber music, and orchestral arrangements—perfect for indie films, trailers, immersive audio, and character themes. While I’m newer to the industry professionally, my years of composing and performing have shaped a sound that is both haunting and healing, subtle yet impactful.

Let’s create something that lingers long after the final note.
