Vance Salley aka 12th Doc
Born in the birthplace of hip-hop—the Bronx, New York—Vance Salley, better known by his stage name 12th Doc, has been spinning records and moving crowds since the age of 13. Now based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Doc brings decades of experience, deep musical knowledge, production, audio mixing and a genuine passion for audio culture to every set he plays and every session he takes part in.
Doc’s journey began with vinyl, microphones, and cassette tapes in the late '80s, eventually earning him on-air roles as an announcer at WSNC 90.5 FM during his high school years. Since then, his path has taken him through nightclubs in Florida, radio studios in Greensboro, and digital airwaves heard around the globe.
As well as hosting his daily online radio show at Neworldglobalradio.com. He has also been very active producing and mixing hip hop projects for artists like Greydon Square, Spin 4th from Yaggfu Front, Raw Poetic as well as his own instrumental albums available for listening at https://thetwelfthdoctor.bandcamp.com/.
