Hi!

I’m David Horacio, a session electric guitarist with over 15 years of experience both live and in the studio. I’ve worked with a wide range of artists and genres — from funk, pop, soul, lo-fi, and R&B to heavy rock and low-tuned metal. What sets me apart is my versatility and my focus on serving the song, finding the right place for the guitar, whether through performance, arrangement, or tone design.

I’ve worn many hats over the years: editing, co-producing, composing, and recording guitars, always exploring sound, dynamics, and texture to bring each track to life and fulfill the desires of the author.

As a Luthier myself, my two main instruments are made by me: An Alder-Maple Strat with a Fender Tex-Mex set of pickups, ideal for playing everything from funky cleans to overdriven sounds without losing definition and attack, and a Mahogany-Guatambu-Rosewood Jaguar Style, with a set of DS AH3 Alnico V pickups, which give a round, often darker tone with well-defined bass.

I will give you the processed tracks, ready to be put into your mix, and also the direct line so you can manipulate the sound to your liking, try effects or make re-amps.
