Live Sound Engineer & Multitrack Mixing Specialist — 12+ Years of Stage Experience I’ll build a reliable and great-sounding playback system for your live show. Even if your songs come from different albums or sessions, I’ll balance and align all stems so your set sounds cohesive and powerful — while keeping each track’s unique vibe and tone.
Hi there! I’m a live sound engineer with over 12 years of experience working with pop, electronic, indie, and rock artists.
I specialize in building complete show systems with playback setups, mixing live performances on any professional console, and recording multitrack shows for post-production and mixing.
My workflow combines precision and creativity — I love helping artists sound their best, both on stage and in recordings.
I work with Reaper, Ableton Live, and QLab, and I’m fluent with most digital live consoles (Allen & Heath, Avid, DiGiCo, Soundcraft, Midas, Yamaha, Behringer, etc.).
Whether you need:
🎚️ a live mix for your concert or tour (FOH/MON)
🎧 a playback system for your show
🎛️ a polished mix from your live multitracks
— I’ll make sure it sounds clear, powerful, and emotionally engaging.
Let’s create great sound together!

Interview with Mike Shigarov
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I currently work with three bands as their main touring sound engineer, handling everything from rider coordination and venue tech communication to mixing and overall show quality control. I also freelance with about ten other bands, filling in when their regular engineer isn’t available.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Communication. No piece of gear can deliver the right result without a professional behind it — and no professional can do their best without clear understanding. Good sound always starts with good communication.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring the artist’s ideas to life with a modern, professional sound that fits the format of the performance.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I usually handle the full live sound process for artists — from creating a technical rider based on their needs and experience, to building a show file for the chosen console and setting up monitoring during rehearsals. I coordinate with the venue’s technical team, make sure everything is ready for soundcheck, mix the show, record both master and multitrack, and later mix the performance for social media release. After each show, I collect feedback from the team and artists to improve the workflow and keep moving toward perfection.
