I’m Ladobleve, a music producer and mixing engineer specialized in Afrobeat, R&B; and Latin music.
I combine organic textures, warm analog-style processing and strong low-end to deliver mixes and
productions with emotion, groove and clarity.
I’ve worked with artists from Chile and abroad, producing full songs from scratch, mixing vocals,
creating Afrobeat beats and helping independent artists achieve a radio-ready sound.
My focus is simple: clean vocals, warm harmonics, punchy drums and musical decisions that serve the
song.
If you need a professional sound with vibe, groove and detail — let’s work.

Interview with Ladobleve
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: My EP “Puzzle Tape.” I produced, arranged, and mixed it myself. It captures a modern Afrobeat vibe with a personal touch I’ve been shaping for years.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I’m currently working on my EP “Puzzle Tape”, producing for artists in Talca and Santiago, and expanding my music production and distribution services.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Yes — I’m familiar with the platform and can recommend producers or engineers depending on what the artist needs.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. I work digitally for workflow and precision, but I always bring analog warmth and texture into the sound.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise quality, honesty, clear communication, and a final product that truly represents your artistic identity.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Seeing a raw idea evolve into a polished song that moves people. Nothing beats that feeling.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: “How many revisions do you include?” All reasonable revisions — I want the song perfect for you. “Can I send you references?” Absolutely. References are essential.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That making a beat or mixing a song takes “10 minutes.” Good production takes ear, time, and direction.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What are your references? What emotion or vibe do you want? What’s your long-term artistic vision? Where do you want your music to live — Spotify, radio, TikTok?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Choose someone who actually understands your vision, respects your style, and doesn’t rely on templates. Communication and commitment matter more than gear.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: A MIDI keyboard A solar power bank My headphones A notebook for ideas A lighter (survival 101, haha)
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started playing in a rock band back in school. Later, I studied at the Escuela Moderna de Música y Danza, where I graduated as a Music Producer and Artistic Manager. I’ve been producing, mixing, and working with artists for several years across different cities — especially between Santiago and Talca.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Organic, modern, and groove-driven. I like leaving space for every element to breathe while keeping the rhythm tight and engaging.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I’d love to work with Wizkid or Ayra Starr. Their music blends emotion, groove, and minimal elegance — exactly where I feel most at home.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don’t fall in love with the first draft. Great music comes from revising, refining, and listening again with fresh ears.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Mainly Afrobeat, R&B, Pop, and Chilean-style reggaeton, plus other urban fusions. I love blending organic textures with modern production.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is bringing beats to life and mixing vocals so they sound clean, warm, and industry-ready.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring identity, clarity, and groove. I focus on making the music feel modern, emotional, and polished while keeping the artist’s personality intact.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Discuss the vision with the artist (references, vibe, emotion). Build a beat or musical foundation. Vocal recording if needed. Editing, mixing, FX and details to give depth and movement. Mastering (or sending it to external mastering if preferred). Feedback + revisions until the artist feels fully represented.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio is designed for fast, creative workflow: A clean, low-noise audio interface A high-quality condenser mic for crisp vocals Accurate reference monitors and professional headphones A mix of synths, analog-style plugins, and Afro-inspired sound libraries I work mainly in Pro Tools and FL Studio, blending digital precision with analog warmth.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I’m inspired by producers like P2J, Juls, and Sarz. In the Chilean scene, I really vibe with Dysbi’s sound. I also grew up listening to Chilean music like Los Bunkers and Los Tres, which shaped my taste for organic and analog textures.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly work on full production: from the beat to vocal recording, mixing, and mastering. I also do a lot of custom beats and professional mixing, especially in R&B and Afrobeat.
