Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I wrote on ( snoop dog 1st album) on a song called (pump pump) the featured guess, was my Lil cousin (MR.MALIK) FROM THE GROUP ILLEGAL.. THEY WERE SIGNED TO (DALLAS AUSTIN) AT THE TIME.. ANY HOW, MALIK & I WERE IN LA, JUST COMING OFF OF A SPOT DATE SHOW TOUR WITH ONYX. AND SNOOP HAD GIVEN MALIK A CALL TO COME TO THE WHILSIRE STUDIO. WE WENT, AND MALIK HAD A MENTAL BLOCK OF SOME SORT, SO, WE SLID TO THE CORNER AS THE BEAT WAS PLAYING, AND I STARTED WRITING BARS FOR HIM. ITS NOT LIKE HE COULDNT DO IT. JUST NOT AT THAT VERY MOMENT. THE REST OF THE SONG WAS ALREADY CONSTRUCTED FROM A SONG WE HAD DONE A YEAR OR TWO AGO.. WE JUST MERGED IT.. AND THE REST IS HISTORIC HIPHOP IVE DONE INTERVIEWS ABOUT THIS SUBJECT MATTER, IN TERMS OF WRITING FOR SERIOUS SITUATIONS.... THANK YOU KINDLY FOR YOUR TIME. E.K

A: A project for (Columbia & Morocco)

A: Analog, it is warmer.

A: The freedom of thought processing...

A: How long will u take.... As soon as you give me the idea. You'll have it within the hour.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That im rich & low key famous.

A: Is the work need done personal.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Know what you want before you come my way...
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Sp1200, tape machine, my corge, mpc 5000, and my favorite playboy book... it is considered gear 2 me.... wink 😉
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: At 1st, i wanted to become an up front artist, then, as ive had some serious experiences within the industry. I knew that wasnt my thing, so i started to write.. 25 plus
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Conversationalist

A: Alice Smith, because she has a depth of pain in her vocal.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Sometimes you have 2 (transpose) vocals.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Rap & r&b
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Listening & writing
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Appreciation of Insight & beauty towards depth of a subject matter.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Listening to an inviting works, vision is trained towards subject matter, i may have to draw off of my own experiences. If the topic is in that main vein, yet, just scanning the modern tymes and all that comes with life. Of course, i switch up at times, in terms of what I would use to put thought unto. I may use a pad or a tablet, depending how the works is moving me.

A: Mac pro, pro tools and acid, a condenser & dynamic microphone Neumann u87 ai....
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Nasty Nas, Issac H, Sabrina Claudio, Alice Smith, epmd, the Beatles, Bob Marley, black thought, TLC, MONICA, BRANDY, 50CENT, king Malachi.........
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: A composition writer. Full projects & hooks, verses as well as bridges.
