I work for artists and their music. I care about what I do and I care about what you do with your heart and soul on the line. My job is to not get in the way of what you have created, but instead to accent it, cultivate it, and keep it living and breathing. I don't like "fixing" records, I like mixing records. I don't like records that sound like they're begging for money or campaigning for attention. I don't want your money just because you have it. I don't want your sloppy seconds, either. I'm not here to "save your mix." I'm here to accentuate a good song and keep it breathing. I like records with heart and soul, and records that make you feel something when you listen to them. Just started working on the new Alaska & Madi recordings. I've got to say, not only are these girls talented, they're hilarious and a joy to work with. They make recording fun because they come in, they have a good time, and when it comes time for them to deliver, they absolutely knock it out of the park. We need more artists like these girls!
